Owner surrender picked up by an animal control officer on 8/10/26; owner information card not obtained. Hold expired. She is timid and may need a quiet environment or extra socialization work. She is leash trained. Meds: bordetella/parainfluenza, distemper/parvo, pyrantal deworm, heartworm negative, flea spray.

Meet Coco, a 3-year, 4-month-old Pit Bull Terrier Mix who is looking for someone willing to see the gentle heart behind her shy nature. At 46 pounds, Coco is a lovely medium-sized girl who came to us as an owner surrender and is hoping her next chapter will be a peaceful and loving one.

Coco is very timid, so she may do best in a quiet, patient home where she can take her time getting comfortable and learning that she is safe. When life slows down and she has a chance to relax, Coco begins to show her softer side. With a little sweet talk in a quiet area, this reserved girl warms up and becomes gentle and affectionate. She is also comfortable walking on a leash, giving her adopter a wonderful way to build trust and enjoy quiet time together.

Coco has tested heartworm negative and is ready for someone who will give her the patience, kindness, and reassurance she needs to blossom. We believe there is a beautiful, loving companion waiting to emerge from this shy girl.
