Meet Queenie, a sweet 1½-year-old Pit Bull Terrier mix who is hoping her next chapter will be with a loving family. At 49 pounds, Queenie is a wonderful medium-sized girl with a gentle, affectionate personality and plenty of love to give.

Queenie came to us as an owner surrender, and her previous owner described her as having a sweet disposition and getting along well with other dogs. She has also been friendly with the dogs she has met here at the shelter. Queenie appears to be housebroken, walks really well on a leash, and has been calm, quiet, and clean in her kennel.

One of Queenie’s favorite things? A Milk-Bone or tasty treat is always a welcome invitation! She also enjoys quiet time and affectionate petting, making her a lovely companion for someone who appreciates a calmer, easygoing dog. Queenie is heartworm negative and ready to put her shelter days behind her. We would love to see this sweet girl find the caring home she deserves.
